20 – 22nd June 2018, Munich, Germany: Intersolar Europe, the leading European solar energy technology exhibition brought together a global audience for a three-day audio-visual feast of solar and energy. With continuous development in global photovoltaic technologies and strong markets in Europe, Intersolar Europe has evolved from a solar exhibition platform to include various smart energy solutions.
LONGi Solar exhibited with the theme: “Best LCOE Solution”, which perfectly matched the demands of the industry and provided ideas for the sustainable development of renewable energy on a global scale. The product showcase includes LONGi Solar’s innovative Hi-MO series of high-efficiency mono-crystalline modules, including the 60-cell PERC monofacial and bifacial and the aesthetic PERC Mono All-Black modules. Taking pride of place was the Hi-MO3 half-cut cell, bifacial module. As with its world premiere in 2018 SNEC, it was the focal of attention and received accolades from various industry professionals at Intersolar.
LONGi Solar innovative Hi-MO series has been leading the development of monocrystalline PERC technology with high power output and low annual degradation. The new generation Hi-MO3 half-cut cell PERC bifacial module incorporates the latest advanced monocrystalline PERC cell technology. By integrating half-cut cell and bifacial technology, Hi-MO3 brings higher power and lower hot spot effect and improves on Hi-MO2 already impressive specifications. It will provide the industry with a new choice to meet lower LCOE targets.

LONGi Solar, together with the Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) also presented a side-event on 21 June themed: "Next-Generation Solutions for Solar Energy, Renewable Energy, and Energy Storage Technology". International authoritative renewable energy organizations such as TÜV Rheinland and Fraunhofer ISE, as well as NEXTracker, Dupont, Enerparc and many renowned companies joined as speakers and conference guests. Their presentations, opinions and lively discussions about high-efficiency and sustainable development brought a high level of knowledge to the seminar. Delegates also recognized the technical innovation and PV investment by LONGi. Together, as partners in the industry, everyone is a key link in the global renewable energy industrial to encourage and bring about lower LCOE solution and applications.
In his keynote speech, Dr. Fang Hongbin, Marketing Director of LONGi Solar, shared his views on how monocrystalline PERC and bifacial technologies will shape the future development of the photovoltaic industry. “LONGi will advance Research & Development and the production advantages of monocrystalline PERC, increase energy output through technological innovation, and present the industry with the best monocrystalline products. LONGi Solar next generation Hi-MO products are guided by “high power, high power generation, lower hot spots effect, and lower LCOE”, increasing the efficiency and performance of photovoltaic modules and accelerating the decline in LCOE.” said Dr. Fang. “Products and technologies have brought new breakthroughs in the industry and promoted the pace of global acceptance of photovoltaic.”
At the end of three energy-packed days, LONGi Solar has showcased its brand on an international platform, presented the best photovoltaic product and solutions, exchanged insights and built cooperation with customers and partners, and extended LONGi Solar ‘s influence in the international renewable energy market. Intersolar Europe 2018 was a success that laid the foundation for the extensive application of advanced technologies and efficient products in the global photovoltaic market.
