Ecorus, an EPC company based in the Netherlands, partnered with LONGi in the building of the impressive 10 MW skylight solar project on the rooftop of Arcelor Mittal - Belgium's largest steel company.
The skilled team of Ecorus installed the solar panels from LONGi at an average of 3 panels per minute, with more than 180 staff working simultaneously. The efficiency of the construction work with safety-first as its core was well received by Arcelor Mitta. The skylight solar project is a milestone for Arcelor Mitta, paving the way for companies in traditional industries to harness new energy and bring about important impact in the energy transition.
“LONGi's modules have shown excellent performance in power generation capacity, low attenuation and high reliability in real world projects and test sites. The high power modules supplied by LONGi will realize substantial savings in energy costs for Arcelor Mittal.” said Nick Wang, EMEA Sales Director of LONGi Solar. “LONGi will continue to cooperate with our customers to create more efficient solar power stations to fulfill the demand in Europe.”
